Here is a list of 4th of July festivities around the area. If you know of more, send me a message and I will add them! Looks like this will be a lengthy celebration this year! Events are scheduled from Friday, June 30 – Tuesday July 4th!

Sunday, July 2 5:00pm-10pm – Abita Springs Park – 22044 Main Street

BOGALUSA

Parade occurs at 10 a.m. through the streets of Bogalusa. Fireworks start around 8:30 p.m. at the high school stadium.

10AM-4th of July Parade sponsored by American Legion Magic City Post 24 Saluting our local heroes.

8:45PM-All American Fire Works Extravaganza sponsored by American Legion Magic City Post 24 and the City of Bogalusa.

Springfield’s 10th Annual Independence Day Celebration
Sunday, July 2nd
Family Fun in Honor of Our Veterans

5:00 pm – Kids Parade – Peddlem, Pushem, Pullem on Main Street at Old Piggly Wiggly Parking Lot
Opening Ceremony will begin around 5:15 at The Springfield Fire Station

Food Vendors
Arts & Craft Vendors
Games and Demontrations
Custom & Classic Cars, Motorcycles & Jeeps
9:00 pm Fireworks in Fayard Field

Food & Craft Vendors can register to particpate in the event for $25 at Springfield Town Hall. Each vendor will be assigend a 15ftx15ft space to setup a tent. Food vendors will be limited to specfic items based on first come first serve basis.

Town of Independence WILL BE CELEBRATING THE 4TH OF JULY ON

SATURDAY, JULY 1, 2017 AT 7:00 PM. AT FONTANA PARK!!!

THERE WILL BE FIREWORKS, FREE HOTDOGS, DRINKS AND FACEPAINTING! FUN FOR ALL.!!!!!!!

Light Up the Sky at Zemurray Park
Hammond, LA July 4, 5pm – 9pm or end of fireworks

The City provides a free fireworks celebration lasting 20 minutes with more than 3,966 individual fireworks effects. The Light Up the Sky event—which begins at 5:00pm on July 4, 2017—draws hundreds to historic Zemurray Park where nonprofit organizations offer food booths; a DJ entertains the crowd with music; kids play on the inflatables, ride the minuature train, and climb the rock wall.
